Elm Tree Team in our Community
Neighbours helping each other is never more important than when disaster hits. With the people of North Canterbury in mind, the team from the newly opened Elm Tree Early Learning Centre hit the streets to show their support.
“We wanted to get to know our neighbours and let them know we are here to help out” commented Centre Director Rebekah Sharp. “Helping out with gardening and odd jobs is an easy way we can show support for our community”.
The team were out this week doing volunteer work at the historic Elms Mission, the Bay of Plenty’s oldest European heritage site. Keen to build connections with local primary schools, they also assisted with gardening and odd jobs at Bellevue Primary School.
